Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
I request 24 hours-notice, via phone call or text message if you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation. Less than 24 hours notice may result in the full consultation fee being charged. If you forget to show up on the day of your consultation, the full consultation fee will be charged. In the case of a genuine emergency, please call or text me to see what we can arrange. If more than 24 hours-notice is given, your appointment can easily be rescheduled to a more suitable time (subject to availability). Simply text, call or email me: Ph: 0410 431995 (Australia) or email Thank you for understanding.
Unable to Attend Online Consultation Because of Internet Disruption (& Refund Policy)
If we have an online consultation booked and the internet service becomes disrupted, on your side or mine, to the level that the consultation can no longer continue, we can either continue the consultation via telephone, or, if necessary, reschedule to a more suitable time. If the internet disruption is occurring on my end, and it is not possible for you to reschedule, you will be refunded the consultation fee.
General Refund Policy
Please note both the ‘Cancellation Policy’ and the ‘Unable to Attend Online Consultation Because of Internet Disruption’ sections above. Generally, refunds will not be given for consultations when less than 24 hours notice was given to cancel or appointments that have already taken place. In the event that I need to cancel or reschedule a consultation with you, you will either be given a refund or we can reschedule to a time that suits.
Health Fund Rebates
Please note that health fund rebates for many natural therapies in Australia, including Western Herbal Medicine, ceased in early 2019. This is unfortunate and is under review so please protest to your health fund and local MP if you are not happy about this.
My Insurance Covers Australia
Rachel Hull and The Urban Herbalist are based in Australia and my insurance coverage does not cover the US or Canada. Therefore, if you are living in the US or Canada I cannot consult with you, even online (sorry about that). Other countries will need to be assessed on a case-by-case basis as I check with my insurance company, but generally, I am aiming to consult with Australian residents.
